Moms know that a big part of their job is “Taxi Driver”. From school to sports to clubs to appointments… every mom does a lot of schlepping their kids around. In normal circumstances, it’s time consuming. But now with COVID? It’s turned into a nightmare. WHY?
WHEN COVID HIT:
Once I learned schools would be re-opening, everything the kids do came into question. Germs, safety, health…. what should I let them do or not do? Pretty quickly, I thought about the school bus.
Why? Because school busses are a petri-dish full of Covid, (and let’s face it, every other germ known to mankind too)… In addition to school time, I thought, do I really want my kids exposed to even more germs by putting them on the school bus right now?
No. I didn’t. I thought long and hard, and decided to “waive” the bus and drive my kids back & forth to school. I work from home, so I thought I would be able to juggle it. Keep them a little safer from more exposure to everything. No big deal. I can do it.
Have you chosen that option?
And are regretting it already like I am???
For anyone wondering why I’m regretting it… just take a look at my day:
