I have some tips for you!
Hey moms, are you feeling a little bit worried about spring break and what you will do to keep your kids busy because you’re staying home?
Don’t worry, you’re not alone! It can be tough to keep your cool when the kids are out of school and constantly underfoot. But fear not, because I’m here to give you some tips on how to stay sane during this trying time.
First things first, make sure to stock up on coffee (or whatever your caffeine fix of choice may be). It’s going to be a long week, and you’re going to need all the energy you can get to keep up with those little munchkins.
Next, take advantage of the great outdoors. Take your kids to the park, go on a hike, or just spend some time playing in the backyard. Not only will this help burn off some of their energy, but it will also give you a chance to soak up some much-needed Vitamin D.
Another tip I have… reach out to other moms that aren’t away on vacation either! They will be so happy to hear from you and happy to plan a fun playdate!
And if you get to the point when you feel stressed out, take a deep breath and remind yourself that this too shall pass. And remember, it’s okay to take a break and do something for yourself. Whether that’s reading a book, taking a bubble bath, or binge-watching your favorite show, make sure to carve out some time for self-care.
Finally, don’t be afraid to enlist the help of your friends and family. Maybe they can take the kids off your hands for a few hours, or maybe they can just lend a sympathetic ear. Or maybe you can take each other’s kids for a few hours to give each other a break! Whatever the case may be, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help.
So there you have it, moms. With a little bit of caffeine, fresh air, self-care, and support from loved ones, you can make it through spring break with your sanity intact. 💪🏼 And who knows, you might even have a little bit of fun along the way!
